Taunton is famous for its cider, quaint cottages, scenic views and rolling countryside.

Taunton is an excellent central point for visiting the picturesque countryside of the Quantocks.

Those wishing to explore unspoilt landscape can visit the Blackdown and Brendon Hills.

Whilst the Somerset Levels to the west are associated with the legend of King Arthur

and are home to numerous species of birds and wildfowl.
